In response to COVID-19, the Hong Kong SAR Government has activated the Emergency Response Level, the hospital has implemented the below preventative measures to safeguard the health of our patients, staff and visitors.
Under Cap 599D, it is an offence to state false/misleading information to a medical practitioner.
Admission and Visiting Criteria for Patients and Visitors:
Please be informed that we will not accept patients or visitors who:
^Phone consultation is available for patients with respiratory symptoms. Patients with fever but without respiratory symptoms need to be assessed and may need an antigen test before outpatient consultation and admission.

**Cabin crew members and pilots returning to Hong Kong must fulfil the government quarantine requirement and complete all compulsory PCR tests prior to admission and visiting For cargo crew members and pilots, 7 days waiting period is required post travel and can only be admitted with a negative PCR test done the day before or on the day of admission.
Patients who are fully vaccinated for at least 14 days do not require COVID-19 PCR testing. Fully vaccinated patients admitted for endoscopy, ear nose and throat (ENT) or maxillofacial procedures are required to do an INDICAID COVID-19 Rapid Antigen Test on arrival to the hospital.
For the below groups of patients (including maternity), a COVID-19 PCR test is required to be done the day before, or on day of admission. Admission will only be allowed with a negative result:
Outpatient and Health assessment:
Below patients who are not fully vaccinated for at least 14 days are required to undergo an COVID-19 rapid antigen test:
Upon passing the health questionnaire at triage, non- vaccinated visitors have to undergo a COVID-19 Rapid Antigen test and the result will last for 7 days.
Those who have fully vaccinated for at least 14 days can exempt from the antigen test.
All visitors must wear a surgical mask at all time. Visiting times are from 10am to 8pm daily.

Centre for Health Protection NotificationThe hospital is required to notify all cases to the CHP who present with fever, acute respiratory illness, pneumonia or diarrhoea and have travelled to a place with active community transmission of COVID-19 or had close contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19 in the last 28 days. These cases will be transferred to designated public hospitals for further clinical management.
