Job Description

  • Manage the full set of accounting operations, including journal entries, AP/AR, bank reconciliations, accruals, and month-end closing.
  • Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of monthly, annual, and ad hoc management reports and financial analysis for senior management.
  • Lead the budget process, collaborating with different departments to collect, consolidate, and analyze financial data, preparing reports for senior management, and ensuring necessary follow-ups and amendments.
  • Maintain effective budgetary control and oversee the preparation of financial forecasts throughout the year.
  • Work closely with the Operations departments to monitor and implement a price revision program, ensuring regular reviews and adjustments of hospital pricing structures.
  • Coordinate with external financial auditors during year-end and interim audits, managing audit schedules and addressing inquiries to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Adherence to the hospital’s Quality Management Policies and Procedures, Occupational Health and Safety Policies and Procedures, and Financial Control Policies and Procedures for license compliance, audits and accreditations.
  • Support the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of accounting and financial systems (e.g. accounting software and payment platforms)
  • Performing any additional responsibilities as assigned by supervisor and senior management

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional qualification preferred
  • 4-6 years' accounting experience, ideally within healthcare industry
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS/HKFRS and financial reporting requirements
  • Experience with ERP systems such as Sun Accounting System is advantageous
  • Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical capabilities
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills in English and Cantonese
