The health education team at Matilda International Hospital is dedicated to helping domestic helpers and care givers enhance basic skills and knowledge on childcare. We run two courses, one on childcare, and the other on first aid.
This course provides practical knowledge in relation to childcare. It is designed for domestic helpers tasked with childcare duties, especially those working with children between 0-1 year of age.
A multiple choice examination will be given to the students at the end of the course and a performance evaluation will be completed by the teacher. Students will obtain a record of attendance issued by the Matilda International Hospital if they have passed the examination.
This is a certificate course which is rich in both theory and practice with simulated emergencies on child-sized mannequins.
Course Content:
All participants need to complete a practical examination which tests participants’ practical skills of CPR and first aid. Students will obtain a first aid certificate issued by First Aid Awards (Nuco Training Ltd). This certificate will be valid for three years. Course Content:
