First in the World - Matilda International Hospital Achieves the Highest Level
of Exceptional Healthcare Quality Standards Accreditation

Matilda International Hospital is honoured and proud to announce its remarkable success from the accreditation assessment by the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (ACHS) International. The hospital is the first amongst all ACHS International members to be awarded accreditation with an 'Outstanding Achievement' for the ACHS International Evaluation and Quality Improvement Program (7th Edition) (EQIP7), including the Advanced Person-Centered Systems (PCS) Module.

The Accreditation with Outstanding Achievement is awarded to facilities that demonstrate exceptional progress in meeting all EQuIP7 elements in Core, Hospital and Ambulatory Standards with Marked Achievement (MA) ratings, and fulfil all person-centered requirements of the Advanced PCS Module. These awarded accolades serve as a testament to Matilda International Hospital's commitment to achieving and maintaining exceptional standards across a wide range of crucial service criteria, aligning with their founder's vision to be ‘for the benefit, care, and happiness of patients’, which was penned 116 years ago.
