Job Description
- Leading team in performing routine / preventive / corrective repair & maintenance of all biomedical / medical / healthcare equipment to support Hospital frontline users in their equipment service needs
- Ensuring effective contract management with proper installation, inspection, calibration, testing, documentation, reporting, quality & safety of all such equipment / devices according to statutory / professional / licensing requirements
- Liaison & follow up with user & related departments, external vendors, professional bodies & government departments for proper project management / service completion
- Providing professional input / technical support to hospital administration / facilities management in inter-related corporate projects
- Reviewing policies & procedures, service contracts, project master lists, service reports, log analysis, risk management, emergency preparedness, etc. in meeting audit, licensing & accreditation requirements
- Providing analysis & advice, technical solutions, ordinance / market updates, internal training to internal team / user teams on equipment operation and usage
- Performing departmental management, continuous improvement, people development & participation in corporate projects
Requirements
- Degree in Engineering, e.g. Biomedical, Health Technology, Medical, Electronics or Telecommunications, or related technical discipline
- Min. 7 years of solid experience in relevant managerial position related to biomedical engineering, electronics, electrical, instrumentation or radiological equipment in hospital / healthcare setting
- Effective project management & communication skills with attention to details
- Proficiency in computer skills
