    Wide Excision Lumpectomy Packages

    BUN-GSLF, BUN-GSLFA

    A breast-conserving surgery to remove a lump and surrounding tissue for treating or diagnosing breast abnormalities. It may include sentinel lymph node biopsy or additional axillary dissection to assess lymph node involvement. 

    The procedure involves removing the abnormal lump along with a margin of surrounding healthy tissue to ensure complete excision and reduce the risk of recurrence. Depending on the diagnosis, a sentinel lymph node biopsy or axillary lymph node dissection may also be performed to determine if cancer has spread to the lymph nodes.

    This procedure is usually performed under general anaesthesia, allowing most patients to return home on the same day.
