非牟利團體的照顧者聯絡明德兒童慈善基金，研究可行的治療方案。
申請獲批後，兒童及其照顧者前往香港明德國際醫院，由醫院的醫護團隊照顧。
明德的醫生、護士和義工為兒童提供手術治療、護理和關懷。
兒童及其照顧者回到原居地，兒童由非牟利團體繼續提供護理和跟進。
