Senior Registered Nurses – Medical Surgical Department

Job descriptions:

• Accountable to Department Manager/ General Manager of Clinical Operation
• Manage and lead the nursing team, provide clinical leadership for the delivery of safe and effective care within department
• Act as role model providing guidance, support, education and coaching to clinical staff

Requirements:

• Holder of a Bachelor Degree in Nursing or above
• Holder of a valid Registered Nurse Practicing Certificate issued by the Nursing Council of Hong Kong
• At least 6 years working experience in ward setting
• ICU/ Critical Care/ SCBU/ PICU/ Endoscopy experience with training approved is a definite advantage
• Mentorship/Management Qualification (Desirable)
• Holder of valid certificate of Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Paediatrics Advanced Life Support (PALS) is advantageous
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Excellent people management, strong critical thinking, good communication and assessment skills to demonstrate personal commitment in providing safe and quality patient care services with a balance of intelligence, confidence, understanding and compassion
• Experience in project management and quality improvement processes
• Self-motivated and good customer service skill
