DOCTORS’ FEES
All doctors are private practitioners practising independently of the hospital and its administration. Doctors’ fees may vary from one doctor to another and usually charged according to the room category. It is in the patient’s best interest to discuss the expected charges with the attending doctors ahead of time. The hospital only collects doctors’ fees on their behalf.

Operating Theatre Hours
Packages are quoted based on Regular Operating Theatre Hours, which are from 0800 to 2100, on Mondays to Saturdays only. A surcharge of 1.5 times the normal package price will apply for any surgery or procedure commencing outside of the above stipulated regular operating theatre hours; taking place during public holidays and Sundays; or during typhoon number 8 or higher.

Extra Charges
Extra charges will apply under the following circumstances:

  • Procedures or packages extending beyond scheduled operating theatre time
  • Emergency services beyond the routine procedure
  • Extra laboratory or imaging tests, procedures, treatment and medication beyond those included in the package
  • Tests performed during respective off-hours; on public holidays and/or Sundays; and/or during typhoon number 8 or higher

Others

  • All accounts must be settled before discharge or payment guaranteed by insurance companies
  • Whilst changes in prices are not expected, amendments may be made without prior notice, therefore, it is advisable to check the package price and contents before admission.
  • If the preferred type of room is unavailable at the time of admission, the patient will be given other room type options to choose from. The published rate for the chosen room category will apply.
  • Payments can be made in HKD cash or with most credit cards. Our hospital has payment agreements with a number of health insurance companies, please check with our Patient Service Center on 2849 0746.
