The complimentary Hospital Shuttle Bus connects to Central (downtown) on a regular (hourly) basis. The entire trip takes only 15 to 20 minutes.

Public light minibuses stop at the Hospital gates and cost under HK $10 (90p) to get to Central. Or for HK$1 (12 pence) you can get to the Peak – which ranks as the most photographed and visited attraction in Hong Kong. It doesn’t take long to walk there either.

Taxis are also reasonable with a HK$20 (£1.50) flag fall. A HK$60 (approx. £5) taxi fare will get you to the night life and shopping districts, which are all well connected by a fast and modern underground railway link called the Mass Transit Railway (MTR).
