MPF (Pension Scheme)

In Hong Kong, employers and employees must jointly make contributions to a Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) which is similar to a pension fund. The contributions can be retrieved when the foreign worker leaves Hong Kong permanently. The monthly contribution is set at HK$1,000 (£81.00) each month.
