Booking of your maternity stay is done by your obstetrician as they will send important information on your pregnancy status and history for our reference.
Your obstetrician will book the room for you as far in advance as possible. Bookings are considered from 9 weeks of pregnancy only, if accompanied by a clear scan and blood test results. Currently we are unable to take any more bookings for ladies due before April 2011. However this will change on a day-by-day basis. There is no waiting list, but you can ask your Doctor or the clinic to check at regular intervals.
Once the booking has been provisionally confirmed, you will need to pay a $20, 000 deposit. On receipt of this, you will be issued with a formal confirmation.
On cancellation of booking, $18,000 of the deposit is only refundable if we receive written notice from your obstetrician 7 weeks before your expected date of delivery of a medical reason for cancellation. There is no refund of deposit for other circumstance.
Once you have received a full confirmation, please proceed to check-in online work.
If you wish to draw up a birth plan please send or fax (2849 6246) it through to our maternity unit in advance of your admission so that we are aware of any special requests you may have.
Our maternity unit has a reputation of excellent care and we look forward to sharing this experience with you. Although every effort is made to provide you with your choice of room, we are unable to guarantee the type until the day you are admitted. As you may have experienced there is no exact science in predicting due dates, babies set their own programme of events.
Should your booked room category not be available, you may choose a different available room. The published room category rate will apply.
