Our admissions team is ready to welcome you to the hospital and aim to provide a fast and efficient service. In order to streamline the process you may choose to complete the admission form and submit online or by fax prior to admission. Your doctor will still be the one to officially book your stay however this should save you some time when you arrive at the hospital.
On admission you will be asked to produce:
- a valid identity card or passport or your child's birth certificate -this is alegal requirement.
- for maternity care the father's identity card or passport is also required
- a birth certificate for children being admitted if they do not yet have an identity card or passport.
- a deposit by credit card, EPS or cash, HK$20,000 for in-patient care. If you are being admitted to the maternity unit from mainland China you will need to pay an additional non refundable HK$40,000 on confirmation of the bed booking before 33 wks of pregnancy.
- written confirmation that your company will accept responsibility for all costs incurred (if they have assumed responsibility for your hospital bill payment). In which case you will not need to pay a deposit.
Surgical Procedures
If you are having a surgical procedure please arrive 1-1 1/2 hours before the scheduled time, unless otherwise directed by your doctor.
Please do not wear contact lenses and remove nail vanish before admission.
If having an anaesthetic you will normally be required to fast for 6 hours before the procedure, so please follow the instructions given by your doctor.
For day care procedures ensure a friend or relative can escort you home.
All valuables should be left at home.
Your Children
A
pre-admission visit to the hospital can be arranged to help calm fears of coming into hospital.
Please bring in your child's usual bottles and favourite toys etc.
Facilities are available for a parent to stay.
