Antenatal Pilates Class
From 14 -16 weeks of your pregnancy onwards you can practice stretching, breathing and relaxation techniques with us to help alleviate some of the most common complaints during pregnancy.
Exercise during pregnancy
- relieve back/neck pain due to poor posture
- promote circulation to prevent muscle cramps
- improve the flexibility of joints to prepare for delivery
- reduce the risk of going over your due date
- improve or maintain pelvic floor muscles to minimize the chance of incontinence
- stimulate digestion and relieve constipation
- faster postnatal recovery
Using a Pilates exercise approach, classes are small allowing individual attention.

Postnatal Pilates Class
A Pilates based exercise class concentrating on floor and mat exercise with the use of small apparatus such as gym ball and theraband tubing. This is suitable for mothers from 4 weeks after a normal delivery or 6 weeks after a caesarean section.
Stress incontinence and abdominal muscle splitting care common to many new mothers. Correct exercise can help you:
- improve muscle tone, strengh and energy level
- recover abdominal muscle loosening caused by pregnancy
- get back in shape
- strengthen pelvic floor muscles to prevent incontinence
- improve postural muscle support to prevent back or neck pain from childcare or breast feeding
