CERTIFIED CHILD CARE COURSE

This 12-hour course aims to raise knowledge in relation to childcare. It is designed to give peace of mind to parents when leaving their children in the care of their domestic helper. This is suitable for domestic helpers who are involved in the care of children between 0-3 years of age. Emphasis has been placed on the practical aspects of childcare.

PAEDIATRIC EMERGENCY FIRST AID

(for domestic helpers only)

Proper first aid can mean the difference between life and death, rapid and slow recovery, or temporary and permanent disability. Therefore, it is important that your domestic helper is able to provide effective first aid and CPR whilst you are away from home.

Unintentional injuries are often referred to as accidents because occurring unexpectedly and seem uncontrollable. However, most accidents are preventable if a few simple injury-prevention steps are practiced consistently.
This course is taught by qualified instructors and classes are taught in a relaxed, easy to understand way. Scenarios are included in the classes so that skills are well practiced.
Topics covered (6hr):

Participants who successfully pass the assessment and examination will be issued a certificate by the First Aid International which is valid for 3 years.
