Here are a few tips as you plan for your stay with us.

Things To Do Before Admission

-Please check the doctor’s charges (with the doctor) and the hospital charges well in advance
-Patients whose charges will be paid for by their employer/company, or by insurance, both of which must have direct billing agreement with Matilda International Hospital, are kindly advised to arrange a Letter of Payment Guarantee, to be submitted to the hospital before admission. For any enquiries on the matter, please call the Admission Department at 2849 0746 prior to your admission.

Emergency Medical Cover

Surgeons, paediatricians and anaesthetists live on site and perform after office
hours back up for emergencies.

We have both a general practitioner on site 24 hours a day to perform on-call duty
for emergencies. Paediatricians provide onsite emergency cover from 6pm to
8am and anaesthetists from 7pm to 7am, respectively.

Back-up emergency doctors will only be called if your own doctor is unavailable
or at their request, e.g. if they are unexpectedly unable to attend, are detained at
another hospital or if there is an unexpected threat to your wellbeing or your
child's. Patients are advised to check with their doctors about the level of emergency
care they provide, to ensure that, if needed, there is a surgeon, paediatrician and/or
anaesthetist available.
