Medical Surgical and Paediatric (MSP)

People requiring surgical services will be admitted to the Medical Surgical and Paediatric (MSP) unit. The main MSP ward will take cases that require an overnight hospital stay for recovery. Meanwhile, patients undergoing same day discharge procedures will be admitted to the Day Case unit. These procedures can be colonoscopy, gastroscopy, colposcopy or arthroscopy.

The Critical Care unit is also under MSP, and takes care of patients requiring close observation and extra medical attention. This unit comprises the High Dependency unit (HDU) and Intensive Care unit (ICU).
