NEW MEDICAL CENTRE OPENS AT OCEAN CENTRE
Matilda International Hospital extends its reach in central business districts

Matilda International Hospital (MIH) announces the opening of the new Matilda Medical Centre (MMC) at Ocean Centre, Tsim Sha Tsui. Together with the MMC facility in Central, the hospital extends its primary and preventative healthcare services to the residential and business communities on both sides of the harbour.

“There is a surge of demand for a prestige outpatient facility arising from the recent development in the West Kowloon district. MMC Ocean Centre is a key part of Ocean Centre’s Medical Floor.  Occupying over 4,000 sq ft, the new medical centre features modern consulting suites and a dedicated corporate health assessment section. Equipped with a full range of advanced diagnostic facilities, the premium outpatient facility was designed to provide exemplary patient-oriented experiences, ensuring clients enjoy the best-in-class medical services,“ said Mary Rafferty, Chief Executive Officer of Matilda International Hospital.

Ms Rafferty continued, “It is also part of our strategy to develop our wellness capabilities into a centre of excellence.  In addition, many studies have shown that robust health promotion campaigns are beneficial to overall employee health and productivity.  Apart from our executive health assessment programmes, the new facility and the medical team will also support corporate wellness initiatives by conducting health checks onsite, at the workplace.”

The facilities in the medical centre include mammography, X-ray, ultrasound, treadmill and electrocardiography (ECG).  MMC Ocean Centre is the fourth clinic run by MIH. The hospital’s other clinics (MMC in Central, and two corporate staff clinics in Central and Olympic Station), complement the outpatient facility and the  executive health assessment unit at the hospital building on The Peak.
