Facilities Upgrade

There will be essential renovation works in the hospital due to the expansion and improvement of hospital services. Construction works are ongoing and may cause intermittent noise. Every effort will be made to minimize the disturbance and we appreciate your understanding. 

May to June 2013

1. Outer wall painting

The project is divided into three phases, with each phase taking about four weeks to complete. Only a few rooms will be affected at any one phase.  Scaffolding will be erected from the ground level to the roof.  Balconies will be temporarily inaccessible as painting takes place there.

2. Room touch up

Five twin and standard rooms on the Medical Surgical and Paediatric (MSP) unit on the 2/F will undergo facility touch-ups. This work will proceed one room at a time, each taking about a week, with rare bursts of intermittent noise.
