Matilda International Hospital introduces special standard room maternity care packages for ladies due to deliver in a public hospital to provide a more cost-effective access to private care during the coronavirus outbreak. The special packages are valid from now till 30 April 2020, and include nursing care, room, meal charges and treatment normally associated with the delivery type.
Linda Burgoyne, CEO of Matilda International Hospital said, “The current situation of the novel coronavirus is creating great concern for pregnant ladies in Hong Kong. By teaming up with specialists and offering these discounted packages, we provide an option for ladies to deliver their baby with us”.
These special packages apply to pregnant ladies who have an expected delivery date from now till 30 April 2020, but subject to review depending on the coronavirus situation.
Two nights’ normal delivery in a standard room is priced at $59,350 including doctors’ fees while a 4 nights’ elective Caesarean packages is $96,550. Matilda’s level of personalised care will be given to all ladies and the package content is based on those of public hospitals.
A routine antenatal check-up is pre-requisite with a designated obstetrician and is charged at $1,490 per visit which includes a blood pressure check, urinalysis and ultrasound scan.
